Technology Driven

We’ve said so long to goopy molds and impressions and proudly offer our iTero digital scanner as a more comfortable alternative. This allows for faster turnaround times and more accurate aligners. Digital scans combined with i-CAT 3D technology allows us to precisely plan treatment based on each patient’s goals.

Prescribed for Comfort

Instead of bending wires to move teeth, the doctor prescribes specific movement in each aligner to align your teeth with minimal discomfort with your weekly changes. Each set of aligners is designed to move your teeth closer towards your smile goal, following the custom treatment plan mapped out by Drs. Graber, Gyllenhaal, and Zallik.

Adults

Invisalign for Adults

No matter your age, Invisalign can easily help you achieve the healthy, straight smile you’ve always wanted. There are no brackets or wires and Invisalign is fully removable. Free from food restrictions, you can still enjoy your favorite meals, and brush and floss your teeth normally. The removable nature of Invisalign means that patient compliance is particularly important and it is up to you to make sure you wear your aligners as recommended.

Teens

Invisalign Teen

Invisalign Teen offers the same comfortable, removable, clear aligners for Adults, but also includes complimentary replacement aligners. No sports emergencies from broken brackets, nothing shows during a performance, and no interruption in playing instruments are only a few of the reasons teens prefer treatment with clear aligners to conventional braces. At Graber & Gyllenhaal Orthodontics we also offer a Teen Guarantee!

Dental Monitoring At Home

Dental Monitoring is a new technology that allows us to more closely monitor your orthodontic treatment from the comfort of your own home. Using the ScanBox Pro and the DM app, patients will take photos of their teeth at home for our team to review on a weekly basis. Digital check-ins will allow us to evaluate and highlight any treatment concerns, such as broken appliances, oral hygiene, or compliance issues as soon as they arrive.

Patients of all ages

Invisalign First (for Kids)

Graber & Gyllenhaal Orthodontics is happy to offer Invisalign First treatment for many of our patients for whom treatment is needed during the transition of primary to permanent teeth! Invisalign First is also a great option for patients with metal allergies or sensory concerns. Orthodontic treatment for these patients can often be divided into two phases.

Early Intervention

(also called Phase 1 Orthodontics or interceptive treatment) refers to orthodontic treatment before all the permanent teeth are in place, usually between the ages of 7 and 10 years old. Only about 15%-20% of patients who require orthodontics “need” an interceptive phase of treatment. This early treatment is of limited focus and most commonly addresses growth concerns with the jaw structures as well as making space for permanent teeth to erupt.

Comprehensive Treatment

This treatment phase positions all permanent teeth after they have erupted. Usually, Phase 1 treatment allows for a shorter Phase 2 treatment and in many situations, both can be accomplished with Invisalign.

Frequently asked questions

What is Invisalign treatment?
Invisalign Treatment is the process of wearing a series of clear, removable aligners that gradually straighten your teeth. No brackets and wires, and none of the restrictions that come with metal braces.
What are the primary benefits of Invisalign treatment?
Invisalign clear aligners are virtually invisible — people may not even notice you’re wearing them. You can remove them to eat and drink, to brush and floss, or for special occasions. There are no metal brackets or wires that could irritate your mouth or break.
Is Invisalign treatment right for me?
Yes! Invisalign treatment can be a great solution for both adults and teens looking for a virtually invisible method to improve their smile. Our innovations and technological advancements make it possible to fix nearly all common teeth-straightening and bite issues, from simple to complex — all without interrupting your busy life. And, thanks to a discreet blue dot on the outside of teen aligners, parents can be sure their child is wearing their clear aligners enough.
How long does Invisalign treatment take?
Depending on the complexity of your case, you could complete your treatment in as little as 6 months. But you’ll start seeing results in a matter of weeks.
Are there any restrictions on what I can eat while in treatment?
None! Invisalign clear aligners are removable, so there are no food restrictions at all (hello popcorn!). With traditional wires and brackets, there’s a long list of foods you unfortunately can’t enjoy because they can damage or get stuck in your braces.
Is Invisalign treatment more expensive than braces?
Invisalign treatment typically costs about the same as braces.
Will my insurance cover Invisalign treatment?
Many dental insurance plans cover Invisalign treatment the same way they cover braces. Your insurance may pay for a certain percentage of your Invisalign treatment, or it may pay for a certain dollar amount.
Will I need to wear a retainer after treatment to prevent my teeth from moving again?
Most doctors recommend that anyone who has completed orthodontic treatment, whether with braces or Invisalign treatment, use a retainer to prevent teeth from gradually shifting back toward their initial position. Every case is different, so ask your doctor if you need retainers.
